SweepPrize
Editorial Policy
Accuracy and transparency matter more to us than the number of listings. Here is how every listing is built and kept current.
Where listings come from
We find promotions through web search, the official promotion pages of brands, retailers, and media companies, and public lists of current giveaways. A promotion found on another site is never copied from it — we go to the sponsor’s own entry page and official rules.
How details are checked
Each listing is summarized from the official rules. Every fact we show — the sponsor, prize and approximate value, entry deadline, who can enter, how often, and whether a purchase is involved — must match wording in those rules. If the rules don’t state something, we leave it out rather than guess. Listings are reviewed before they’re published, and every page links to the official rules, which always take precedence over our summary.
Keeping listings current
We re-check promotions on a schedule that speeds up as deadlines approach — daily in a promotion’s final week. When the rules change, the listing is updated. Promotions are marked ended after their entry deadline, and listings whose source disappears are removed.
What we won’t list
Promotions that require a purchase without a free way to enter, sweepstakes-casino or gambling offers, and promotions we can’t trace to an identifiable sponsor. When a promotion’s main entry comes with a purchase but a free alternate entry exists, we say so on the listing.
We’re not the sponsor
SweepPrize doesn’t run, administer, or pick winners for the promotions we list, and we never ask for payment. Legitimate sweepstakes never charge a fee to claim a prize.
Corrections
Spotted an out-of-date deadline, a broken link, or a mistake? Use “Report a problem” on any listing or email hello@sweepprize.com, and we’ll re-check the official rules.
