Terms and Conditions

These terms explain how you may use SweepPrize and what to expect from a directory of third-party promotions. By using the Service, you agree to them.

1. The Service

SweepPrize is an informational directory that helps people discover sweepstakes, contests, and giveaways. We may publish summaries, eligibility notes, dates, prize information, and links to official promotion pages. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

2. Official rules control

SweepPrize does not run, sponsor, administer, or award prizes for the promotions it lists unless a page expressly says otherwise. Each promotion is controlled by its sponsor’s official rules, including its eligibility requirements, entry methods, deadlines, odds, prize restrictions, and privacy practices. Read those rules before entering. If a summary on SweepPrize conflicts with official rules, the official rules control.

Never pay money or provide sensitive financial information to SweepPrize to claim a prize. SweepPrize will not ask you to pay a fee to enter a listed promotion or to receive a prize.

3. Accuracy and availability

We aim to provide useful, current information, but promotion details can change or expire without notice. We do not guarantee that listings are complete, accurate, available, lawful in your jurisdiction, or suitable for you. A link, listing, or inclusion does not constitute an endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, or guarantee of any sponsor or prize.

4. Eligibility and your responsibility

You are responsible for confirming that you are eligible to use the Service and enter a promotion under applicable law and the sponsor’s official rules. You are also responsible for any information you submit to a sponsor after leaving SweepPrize, and for reviewing that sponsor’s terms and privacy policy.

5. Prize alerts

If you subscribe to prize alerts, you agree that SweepPrize may send recurring email updates about listed promotions and related Service updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in an email or by contacting hello@sweepprize.com. Our collection and use of subscription information is described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You may use the Service only for lawful, personal, and informational purposes. You may not interfere with the Service, bypass security or rate limits, use automated access in a way that burdens our systems, scrape or republish substantial portions of the directory without permission, impersonate someone, submit malicious content, or use the Service to mislead, harass, or harm others.

7. Content and intellectual property

The Service, including its original text, design, organization, logos, and software, is owned by or licensed to SweepPrize and is protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Third-party names, logos, promotion materials, and links belong to their respective owners.

8. Third-party websites

The Service contains links to websites and services operated by third parties. We do not control or endorse those sites, and we are not responsible for their content, security, availability, transactions, rules, or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party site is governed by its terms.

9. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. SweepPrize disclaims warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SweepPrize and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, opportunities, or goodwill, arising from or related to the Service, a listed promotion, or a third-party website. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the prior 12 months or $100.

11. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SweepPrize and its operators from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these terms, violation of law, or infringement of another person’s rights.

12. Changes and termination

We may update these terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised terms. We may suspend or terminate access when we reasonably believe these terms or applicable law have been violated.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws that apply where the operator of the Service is located, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where consumer-protection law requires otherwise. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
